It's really about time I did a little art post. I haven't done a ton of finished stuff, a lot of sketchbook work. But in my defence I was working on a pretty large project for a friend of mine. The images are not super interesting so we'll forgo a viewing here, unless of course you'd love to see some instructional icons.

My fish Loogy (worst name ever!) as a deep sea explorer. We had a work contest where we had to paint our pets as something they always wanted to be. A fresh water fish would of course want to be an ocean explorer. Also, it was an excuse to watch The Life Aquatic for some sweet reference.
Last, but not least, a portrait of my Grams. My Grampy commissioned me to paint her. She passed away last year. Honestly I'm not much of a 'real' portraitist. Most of the time I'm lucky if I can get a good resemblance, but I gave it my best.
