Guess Who Learned how to Screen Print!

Finally after 5 years of owning screen printing supplies I have actually used them! And it only took three tries to finally figure out how to properly burn a screen. Now that I have it (by it, I mean the knowledge), I have it. Watch out!

Above is my practice run after burning. It's Neil Young, from the Mirror Ball album artwork. My husband is a SUPER FAN and since we got tickets to see Neil play at Massey Hall, which has been a life long dream of the Beej, I thought I should make us some fan-atic t-shirts.

This is my shirt and it's a total happy accident. At first I was miffed because the print was so light, but it think it gives off a dreamy feel, which goes well with the tie dye print. Note H&M does NOT cater to the pear shaped woman. Who are all these tubesque ladies that they make shirts for?

This is the old HB's shirt. I am so happy with it. I was worried it would turn out light like mine so I made like a dozen passes with the ink. It looks even better in person. I think he likes it too.

I can't even wait for the concert and how awesome are these shirts right?
