My first adult Christmas tree. There was a big debate, should we get a real tree or a fake tree? I felt terrible about cutting down a tree and throwing it away just so our holiday would be complete. I'm a big fan of trees. So, we found the perfect compromise. A potted tree. A Norfolk Island Pine to be exact. It doesn't smell pine-y which is too bad, but it's alllll pine regardless. And I got to decorate it and that's what really matters. I made all my ornaments out of sculpey, beads, and glitter. The paper chain of course was made of paper. Hopefully, if I care for it correctly, we'll never have to cut a tree down for Christmas ever!
